I'm going to be taking a lot of pictures of my school for the next week or so. We are working on doing a self study to attain WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) Accreditation. It's a pretty big deal and the photos are going to become part of the final product... it'll be fun!

Ok, so I'm sure that plenty of you know exactly what this is, and are not surprised by the sight of it. NOT ME!

I mean, I had heard of rose hips... but had no idea that they actually came from a rose bush and that it was a fruit! I was pretty excited when I saw this little guy after all our rain last week... I want to eat it, just to see what it tastes like, supposed to be really good for you.

Reconnected with two great people yesterday! Doug and Stacy were the first people we met in Ojai when we first moved here 5 years ago... we FINALLY got together with them last night for dinner. Good stories, big plans, and really enjoyed catching up!

246/365 Awash...

The rain continues to fall. And I continue to love it! I'm shocked at myself really, I was so sick of clouds and rain, it's one of the main reasons I wanted to leave Michigan... but it's a welcome change of scene. The thunder today was soooooo nice and deep and rumbly.... The river behind the house is flowing like mad! I went out back briefly tonight and thought it was a big wind about to blow in my face from the sound of it, then I realized it was water flowing!!! Hope the weather breaks so I can go take some pics of it in the next couple days.

Got a chance to stop by the shore today the storms brought in some BIG waves! That's Brian checking them out, then chattin' up the lifeguard. We actually had THUNDER today!

Had a fun morning watching Agape live streaming for the first time... ALMOST like being there. :)

Then it started to rain, so I did work on my BTSA (hell) I'm not going to explain it, it's a new teacher nightmare here in California (thanks so much G.W. Bush for passing NCLB). And then I allowed myself to get lost in what is fast becoming my TRUE passion... I started to make a website for my photography!

It's kind of wrong when I might consider a sight like this to become redundant, and making it the pic of the day seems like a cop out, SO I'm not going to think that!

We've got a big storm rolling in so the clouds make for a stunner!

So, this is not so much a great picture (in fact it's terrible) as it is an amazing thing that we figured out today!

A co-worker of mine has been talking about how netflix has movies that you can watch instantly on your computer. Well, I got to thinking that why can't you just connect your computer to your TV and watch it on there, people have been doing that kind of thing forever, but I hadn't thought about it for a live-streaming deal...

Well, we got it all hooked up tonight! So we can pick a movie online, and watch it from the internet on the TV RIGHT NOW.

229/365 Couldn't get enough...

So, I hadn't had enough of the Agape experience yet, so I had to go to the service today. It was JAMMED! Such an amazing scene... so many bright and shining people there. The best was that they seated us meditation participants right up in the choir loft, and we got to be the "choir" for the songs that Rickie had written and taught us on the retreat... such a TREAT!

And to get to spend the afternoon with my great pal Renee was really sweet as well... woo hoo!

226/365 Agape New Year's Eve Sunset...

The sunset/moonrise last night was amazing. The New Year's ceremony began at 8 pm and didn't stop until about 1 am. What an amazing experience. Really, words cannot describe it.

I was so wiped out, I couldn't even post a picture... so here they are now.
