They say that "life is journey... enjoy the ride". I hope this project gives a good view of my ride this year...

151/365 Ojai Day 2009
Had to do a little climbing to get this one. It was a really nice day... HOT, but very nice.
ooo this is like some sort of Indian painting ! Isn't it? they use colorful sands over the ground ...fascinating design! but wait , I can see some people are walking on it ... am I right?
Hey Peter Pan! It's actually a chalk drawing/mandala that is an annual ritual part of the Ojai Day Celebration. At the end of the day, people dance all over it, and then it's washed away. It's a very spiritual place up here, so I think it's a nod to the Chumash or maybe just general spirituality... :)
